RUNNING AN ABA PROGRAM FOR YOUR CHILD - learn the role of behavioural therapist
Applied Behavioural Analysis (ABA) is the most clinically supported and widely documented behavioural therapy for children with an ASD. As an early intervention treatment ABA has shown to significantly improve the functioning of ASD children in the areas of IQ, adaptive skills and emotional responses.
The role of ABA is to teach play, communication, self-help, and academic skills to children. This course focuses on developing and acquiring these skills, and working one-on-one with your ASD child. Don't be afraid of the academic sounding terminology: many parents - as well as teaching professionals and educators - have benefited enormously by understanding and applying basic ABA principles.
This highly sought after three-day course imparts both practical skill and theoretical knowledge about ABA therapy.
