Autism Partnership believes in comprehensive intervention designed to meet the individual needs of each child we serve. Operated by a not-for-profit organisation, the Abacus Learning Centre, based in Mornington, aims to help children with an Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) develop the skills they require to enjoy a fulfilling life, using the principles of Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA). Delivered on a 1:1 staff-to-child ratio, the ABA programs are individualised, based on each child's developmental level, and cover areas such as communication, social skills, academic skills, independent play, cooperative play, emotional awareness and self-help skills.  All staff are trained in this teaching technique and are supervised by the Centre Manager and Program Director.

PLaydaZE involve ongoing individualized programs focusing on developing and generalizing children’s social skills based on previously mastered skills. Our goal is to provide direct teaching situations to practice developmental of social skills in small groups.

PLaydaZE curriculum and social groups are supervised by a Psychologist and are run by fun and friendly, trained ABA therapists who are there to support the needs of each child who takes part in the program.

Costs are approximately:

Jill Young is a special education teacher with over 16 years experience teaching children with special needs, and over 10 years experience consulting in ABA.

Jill provides ABA therapy and consultancy to families on the Mornington Peninsula, as well as consulting with primary school teachers, pre-school teachers, child-care workers and assistants working with children with autism spectrum disorders in mainstream settings.

Jill also runs the GLADD (Group Learning for children with Autism and Developmental Delay) program in Mornington.
