Donations
If you've been positively impacted by Applied Behavioural Analysis - or negatively impacted by an Autism Spectrum Disorder - like us, you probably want to share your knowledge and experience to make it easier for those who follow in your footsteps.

A donation of money or time to support our organisation is a way of 'paying it forward'. It helps us spread the word; and it helps other families access the most current, the most educational, and the most accurate autism-related information.

Volunteer
Perhaps you have some time to give? Autism Behavioural Intervention Association has a strong demand for assistance with administrative and clerical duties. Some of our needs include compiling and copying our quarterly newsletter, banking, posting library resources and requests, answering phones and providing an information service to other parents and families. If you can spare 4-7 hours on a regular basis please contact Anita O'Flynn on (03) 9830 0677 or email info@abia.net.au.
Campaign with Us
As the peak body for Applied Behavioural Analysis therapy in Victoria, our organisation is keen to influence government and educate top-end decision makers about the evidence-base and positive outcomes of this important treatment option.
In the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada and Europe - and for more and more Australian families - ABA is resoundingly the preferred methodology for children with an Autism Spectrum Disorder. This is due to its long history, and the proven scientific basis which underpins its success.
Campaign with us to raise awareness, to gain access to government funding, and to educate and inform those in positions of power and influence. Click here to add you name to a petition to support government funded ABA therapy, and for greater recognition about ABA as a preferred treatment. There's power in numbers and we're aiming for 10,000 families to petition the Minister.
Donate a Book
The Autism Behavioural Intervention Association is a member organisation of Autism Victoria (AV) trading as Amaze, and where possible and practical, works collaboratively. Members of ABIA will soon be able to access AV's library resources as well as our own, quadrupling the amount of available resources and improving access to resources by 100%.
Working collaboratively, ABIA is pleased to support AV's 1000 Books Campaign. Over the past 12 month Amaze has enjoyed significant growth and consequently they are seeking to build their resources to better support Victorian families, individuals, and professionals.
Donations can be made in the form of cheques, cash, or online transfers. Donors will be acknowledged via placement of a "Donated By..." caption inside each book purchased and in AV"s Spectrum magazine.
The average cost of an autism book is approximately $40.00, however, no matter how big or small your donation it all helps AV and ABIA to provide comprehensive and specialist resources on Autism Spectrum Disorders.
You can make a donation over the secure link, or alternatively you can send a cheque made payable to 1000 Books Autism Victoria, to:
